The British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) has established itself as one of the best Junior 'A' Leagues in North America. The league consists of 17 teams and has a regular season schedule comprising of 62 games. The BCHL has continually produced Div I players and has a proud tradition of focusing on education. As a testament to this fact, the BCHL sees numerous players move on to American universities as well as Canadian University and College at the end of every season. The style of play that a player can expect to find in the BCHL could be characterized as free wheeling and pretty wide open. The league has great fan support which is a direct result of the exciting brand of hockey that is being played throughout the league.
