These leagues include the North American Hockey League (NAHL), and the United States Hockey League (USHL). The ultimate prize for the two leagues is the Gold Cup awarded to the top Tier 1 team in the nation. Junior 'A' in the US is continually growing and is establishing itself as one of the premiere routes for players hoping to take their game to the University or Professional level.
