The WCHL is made up of seven teams that play in two divisions, those being the Northern and Southern. It is due to the long lengths between the competing cities that teams in the WCHL tend to fly to their away games.       The WCHL boasts impressive fan support and has been successful in drawing quality players with backgrounds ranging from AHL to College. This diverse mix of players makes for an exciting brand of hockey and is reason for promise with regards to the future of the WCHL.
