The conferences are made up of the following, the ECAC East, ECAC Northeast, ECAC West, MIAC, NESCAC, NCHA, SUNYAC, MCHA, and finally, the independent. The NCAA Div III program is a competitive league that is highly focused on education. Playing Div III allows players to pursue their education while continuing to grow their skills. The NCAA Div III program has produced many Professional players and has the format in place to continue to do so.
