	Players at this stage of their careers should be solely focused on having fun. These are the years that you as players are developing and building the foundation of skills that will serve you throughout your career. You may still be unsure of what exactly it is that you want to accomplish with hockey, and we're here to tell you that this is perfectly normal.       Hockey during your minor hockey years should be nothing but enjoyable. You will have the chance to grow with your friends and experience what the game of hockey has to offer you. Tournaments, hockey schools, and the regular season will help to prepare you and educate you on whether or not hockey is truly the sport for you.       Enjoy yourself regardless of if you're they're just to play, or if you're there in order to get somewhere. Get from hockey what it has to offer - great times with great people that result in lifelong memories. Play for yourself, and play because you love to, and it is playing for your enjoyment that will enable you to achieve your goals, whatever those may be.       As players who've been there, we offer you this. Learn as much as you can from who ever you can. Play with better players, because in the end, that will force you to be better. Watch these players, and learn from what they do. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Ask your parents, ask your coach, ask fellow players, and ASK US. When you think you've figured out what it is that you hope to accomplish within hockey, find out as much as you can about reaching that goal. Know the rules, don't make assumptions, and be sure. Most importantly, if for some reason you don't reach that goal, don't let yourself get discouraged. Take the experience and learn from it. Set new goals or continue to go after the same ones that you've always had. Thousands of players have missed out on opportunities, because they didn't ask, and in turn, they didn't know how to get where they wanted to go. Others made uneducated decisions that contributed to them not getting there. The reality is that sometimes you may not get where it is you want to be. The secret is to make the best out of where you're at, and you'd be surprised at what you can accomplish. Follow your heart, and you can't go wrong.       We built this site so players like you could benefit from players like us. The world is at your feet, and don't let anyone ever tell you different.
