This may sound funny, but it remains the truth. PlayYourGame and the concept behind it grew from years of wishing. Wishing for a second chance to make a decision, wishing for the knowledge that comes with experience. Wishing for a resource that could answer our questions. As hockey players, we all, at one point in our lives and careers, have wished for one thing or another. PlayYourGame grew from these wishes.
The information that we as players know we need, but for the longest time didn't know how to find, has been harnessed and posted in one place. That place is PlayYourGame.com. In May of 1999, the idea was born through a simple discussion between two players. It is our goal that through this simple discussion, thousands of athletes will be able to benefit. When you get down to the heart of hockey, what you have is the players that make it beat. There is a desire for this kind of resource, and there is a need for a resource that will respond and interact with the players. The time has come to give players a resource that is capable of helping them attain their goals, and who better to do it than fellow players?
After four decades of combined hockey experience and thousands of hours of research, thought, and hard work, PlayYourGame.com and the company DavidSport were launched on December 8th, 1999.
